Don’t know how much time he will give: Shinde

Home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde briefing the media about Telangana bill status said, “It is currently in President Pranab Mukharji’s office. I don’t know how many days’ time he will give to state Assembly for returning the bill. However, if possible we want to present it in winter parliament sessions. Centre has all rights to divide any state using Article 3, if there is no consensus from the state. So, it is absurd to say that we are misusing our powers. Bifurcation process is taking place completely in accordance with constitution. So, we are confident that it will get the approval of President and Parliament as well.”
