Sakshi Media also served notice

Visakhapatnam DCP Trivikram Varma told the media that notice was served to Sakshi media also on Saturday, following a complaint lodged by lawyer NVV Prasad against it in a city police station for trying to defame the Chief Minister of the state with its false and baseless stories.

This is first time that Andhra Pradesh government has allowed the police to take action against Sakshi media even though it has been rigorously making negative publicity against it in a bid to create negative opinion among the people. Sakshi media owned by YSR Congress party president Jagan Mohan Reddy intensifies its negative publicity against the state government ever since Revanth Reddy’s issue was surfaced. However, the state government has ignored its concentrated criticism against it, but the people reacted otherwise and lodged a police complaint against it.

So, it seems Sakshi media appears to be invited troubles in its attempt to defame the state government and the Chief Minister. Already a section of media in the Telangana state has started conducting rallies protesting serving notices to the T-News Channel. Sakshi media backed by YSRCP also may hit the roads in Andhra Pradesh very soon for the same reasons.
