Minister Brother-in-law Illegal Sand Excavation

Brother-in-law of a minister from Kurnool district is minting crores of money by illegally excavating sand from Kundu river without the relevant permissions since long. There is no one in the district to stop him because he happens to be the brother-in-law of a minister.

The sand excavation from Kundu river bed near Nandyal town is going on unabated round the clock with the help of poclains. Nobody dares to question him. If anyone goes near the excavation spot, his goons pester him with questions and on getting suspicion thrash the intruder black and blue. Though the illegal activity is going on very near to Nandyal town, neither the KC Canal, geology department, irrigation department nor the revenue department officials are taking any action against the culprits. The minister is also not stopping his brother-in-law from defiling the Kundu river.
