The internal rivalry between Union minister S Jaipal Reddy and D K Aruna seems to be reaching a boiling point where the point in question now for their fighting is the Mahbubnagar Lok Sabha seat. Jaipal Reddy wants to shift to the BC prominent Mahabubnager seat and is also showing his dominance in the selection of the Assembly candidatures there which is being opposed by D K Aruna and her supporters.
It is learnt that she is already in Delhi and met the party's general secretary and state in-charge Digvijay Singh to talk about this issue. Meanwhile he seems to be trying to induct his own supporters in the Narayanpet , Kodangal , Devarkadra and Mahabubnager Assebly seats and this is ticking off D K Aruna and her supporters. Their rivalry which has been brimming since a long time might reach a pinnacle and if the High Command doesn’t put its fight down could lead to the Congress party losing its credibility there.
