How, TRS plans to eliminate its rivals?
There was a saying-‘when you want kill a dog, first stamp it as mad one and then kill it. No one will object you.’
TRS president K.Chandrashekar rao also seems wisely adopted the same idea to eliminate all his rivals from his dream zone-Telangana, before he could make any tall claims in the future.
Time and again he makes it clear that he doesn’t want any other political parties lead by Seemandhra leaders in his Telangana zone. He tagged both TDP and YSR Congress party with this ‘Seemandhra label’ which are the only two parties posing threat to his party in Telangana.
KCR concentrates on these two soft-targets, knowing that one day or the other the Telangana Congress folks will have to kneel down before him as they will have no other option left with for their political survival if they bid good bye to their party. However, he also promised to erase Congress party from Telangana zone before the next general elections. In such case, there will be no other parties left in fray except TRS alone, thus making him a monarch of the zone.
If closely observe his statements, one could easily understand KCR’s big dreams for his (?) future in Telangana state. First, he wisely plays this ‘Seemandhra card’ to eliminate both these major parties from his dream-zone to safeguard his interests. Next he may play ‘communal card’ to eliminate the lonely fox- BJP.
And surprisingly, KCR was never seen concealing his dreams from the public. In fact, he is mentally preparing the Telangana people to see him as their first Chief Minister of Telangana state, whether he achieves it today or two years later. Many of us might have seen him sanctioning Minister posts to his followers and declaring several welfare schemes to the people of Telangana during his every other meeting, as if the people have already chosen him and his party to rule them in the new state. KCR’s recent announcement about giving minister post to former T-NGO president Swamy Goud stood as one fine example for it. Occasionally, he also announces on which file he is going to sign first after assuming the office as Chief Minister of new state. But, at the same time he conveniently forgets about his promise about chairing a backward cast person as first CM of the state.
Of course, there is nothing wrong in announcing his future plans as long as he obliges our democratic systems and constitution. But, his plans to eliminate rest of the parties from Telangana zone branding them with ‘Seemandhra’ stamp or with a ‘communal stamp’ is can’t be justified at all. Even if he wants to be a monarch, he should be aware that it is not possible in the present political system.
If, he doesn’t want any political party (lead by Seemandhra leaders) he should see them defeated in the general elections, honoring our democratic system. If, he could achieve his goal through this democratic system, no one would ever dare to point out at him, instead welcomes him. But, using brutal force to eliminate his rivals is not at all welcome in a democratic system.
It is evident, although TRS is an agitating party now it will transforms into a full fledged political party in the future to make its claims on the Government in future-Telangana state. Hence, KCR being leader of such a party should aware of the existing democratic system and fall in line with it.
