    నాగపూర్ లో టెస్ట్ లో మొదటి ఇన్నింగ్ లో ఇంగ్లాండ్ 330 పరుగుల కు ఆలౌటైంది. ఐదు వికెట్ల నష్టానికి 199 పరుగుల ఓవర్ నైట్ స్కోరుతో బ్యాటింగ్ ప్రారంభించిన ఇంగ్లాండ్ 242 పరుగుల వద్ద అశ్విన్ బౌలింగులో ప్రియర్ వికెట్‌ను కోల్పోయింది. ఆ తర్వాత వెంటనే ఇషాంత్ శర్మ బౌలింగులో బ్రెస్నన్ డకౌట్ అయ్యాడు. దీంతో 242 పరుగుల వద్ద ఇంగ్లాండు ఏడో వికెట్‌ను కోల్పోయింది. నిలకడగా ఆడుతున్నరూట్ 73 పరుగుల వ్యక్తిగత స్కోరు వద్ద పియూష్ చావ్లా బౌలింగులో అవుటయ్యాడు. భారత బౌలర్లలో పియూష్ చావ్లా మెరిశాడు. అతను నాలుగు వికెట్లు తీసుకున్నాడు. ఇప్పటి వరకు అంతగా రాణించని ఇషాంత్ శర్మ ఈ ఇన్నింగ్సులో మూడు వికెట్లు తీసుకున్నాడు. ఇంగ్లాండుతో జరుగుతున్న నాలుగో టెస్టు మ్యాచులో భారత్ బ్యాటింగ్ చాలా నిరాశాజనకంగా ప్రారంభమైంది. తొలి ఇన్నింగ్సులో బ్యాటింగుకు దిగిన వీరేంద్ర సెహ్వాగ్ అండర్సన్ బౌలింగులో పరుగులేమీ చేయకుండా క్లీన్ బౌల్డ్ అయ్యాడు. రెండో బంతికే అతను పెవిలియన్ దారి పట్టాడు. ప్రస్తుతం గంభీర్, పుజారా క్రీజులో ఉన్నారు.

    Vidya Balan Marriage Wedding: Bollywood actress Vidya Balan finally got married to beau Siddharth Roy Kapur in a hush hush ceremony in Chembur early morning today. It was a temple wedding for the actress and most likely to have followed authentic Tamil traditions. Vidya Balan was dressed like a traditional Tamil bride. The earthy beauty wore a nine yard Kanjivaram saree and we are guessing it's by her favourite designer Sabyasachi. Vidya also wore traditional South Indian gold jewellery along with some of her mother Saraswati’s ancestral baubles, sources said.

    అంధుల టి-20 ప్రపంచ కప్ ఫైనల్లో పాకిస్తాన్ ను చిత్తుచేసి భారత్ వరల్డ్ చాంపియన్ గా నిలిచింది. గురువారం జరిగిన ఫైనల్లో ఇండియా పాకిస్తాన్ పై 29 పరుగుల తేడాతో గెలిచింది. మొదట బ్యాటింగ్ చేసిన ఇండియా 20 ఓవర్లలో 258 పరుగులు చేసింది. కేతన్ భాయ్ పటేల్ 98 పరుగులు చేసి టాప్ స్కోరర్ గా నిలిచాడు. 259 పరుగుల లక్ష్యంతో బ్యాటింగ్ కు దిగిన పాకిస్తాన్ 20 ఓవర్లలో తొమ్మిది వికెట్లకు 229 పరుగులు చేసింది. గ్రూప్ దశలో పాకిస్తాన్ చేతిలో ఓటమిపాలైన భారత్ అందుకు ప్రతీకారం తీర్చుకుంది. గ్రూప్ దశలో వరుసగా ఎనిమిది మ్యాచ్‌లు గెలిచిన పాకిస్తాన్ ఫైనల్‌లో అదే స్థాయిలో రాణించలేకపోవడం గమనార్హం.

Sharmila woo woos Telangana people

  When one have to mention Sharmila’s name or about her ‘Maro Prasthanam’ pada-yatra being conducted in Telangana region now, definitely she need to be referred as sister of the YSR Congress party president YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy and not otherwise as she still do not holds any official position in that party. Yet, she was seen assuring the Telangana people about the favors that they are going to get in ‘Rajanna Rajyam,’ which she again assures coming soon.   Perhaps, she may be an active member of the party, but it doesn’t authorize her to make promises to people on behalf of her party president YS. Jagan Mohan Reddy, where as it is different with their rival Chandrababu Naidu, who has the full authorization to make promises to the people as the president of TDP. If, her mother YS.Vijaya Lakshmi, being the honorary president of the YSR Congress party makes the same it would be considered as trust worthy. When, YSR Congress party plans to contest in the next general elections it should send an appropriate person to come into deal with the people, otherwise it would be considered as false promises or promises written on the water.

Can 'T' Cong.MPs adjust in TRS?

  Telangana Congress MP Manda Jagannatham from Nagar Kurnool constituency has set a deadline to his party high command December 28th to come out with a favorable decision on Telangana issue during its all party meeting to be held by Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde at New Delhi. He said, otherwise he will bid good bye to the party and will join TRS party, which is inviting him into it. He also said that few more MLAs, MPs may follow his foot-steps incase the party fails to come out with favorable decision on Telangana issue.   His threat appears to be blackmailing his own party which gave him name and fame all these years. However, his decision to join the TRS party may prove fatal for him and others, who plan to follow him. After enjoying a ‘limitless freedom’ in the Congress party, if they couldn’t adjust with the dominating attitude of its president K.Chandrashekar rao and his relatives in the party, it will leave them nowhere. Once they join TRS they ‘must’ adjust with KCR and his top-trio dominating attitude to survive in the party. If can’t it would be nothing but a politically-suicide for them. Leaders like Vijaya Shanti stand a fine example for it, who feels humiliated with for being sidelined and for being considered as second class leader in the TRS party.   More over, at the time of allotment of party tickets to the candidates in the next general elections, they may face discrimination in the party due to the objections that may be raised by the existing aspirants of the party. In such case, either they have to contest on their own as independents, for which again TRS may objects or have to return to Congress fold with blackened faces. By the time, it will be too late for them as the Rahul’s teams in the state would have put their names in blacklist, because of their anti-party activities. So, the Telangana Congress MPs and others who might be considering all these facts, seems caught in a dilemma over leaving the party and to join TRS party, otherwise they would have jumped into TRS long back.

Are the politics in Telangana going to worsen further?

  The incident that takes place at Warangal city reveals the hidden political pressures in the Telangana region. Since TDP and YSR Congress parties are deliberately trying to gain some ground in Telangana zone with their leaders pada-yatras, TRS which hates to see the gaining grounds in its zone leaves no stone unturned to push them out.   When the YSR Congress party flags all of a sudden appear all over the Kakateeya University premises overnight Wednesday, the students of the University raged with it. Believing it as the handwork of YSR Congress party leader Konda Surekha, they have tried to attack her house in the city. In return, her followers who appear to be ready for it also gave them fitting reply. Situation remains tense until the police rushed to the spot and dispersed the mobs. However, it reveals that both the parties have all means ready to secure their positions and determined to safe guard their political interests in Telangana zone. While the general elections are round the corner all the three political parties are trying to distract their rivals before they get the blow from other end. In such case, we may witness a worsen situation in this zone in the days to come. May it be physical attacks or some thing like that?

Coincidentally, Mamatha got married to her longtime childhood friend Pregith Padmanabhan after recovering from cancer on 11-11-11; which also happens to be a magical date. Talking to the media, Mamatha stated that when there is no space for love, affection and self-respect between the couple, that, marriage stands as a major failure.

Indian for top post in UNO

          Comptroller and Auditor General of India Vinod Rai has been elected again as the Chairman of United National Panel of External Auditors for the year 2013.   The officials of the UNO has made it public in a statement. At present, the countries like China, France, Italy, Canada, Phillippines, Switzerland, Tanzania, Britain and India are the members in the panel.   The panel tries to strengthen the administration in the various organs of the UNO. It organizes various discussions relating to the auditing of the UNO. Amyas Morse of UK has been reelected as the vice chairman of the panel, said the statement. The secretary general of the UNO Ban Ki Moon has commended the service of the panel. Rai, along with his team, met Moon to inform him the decisions of the panel regarding the conduct of the audit.   The panel will meet every year to discuss the emergent issues in the audit of various organs of the UNO. The panel was formed through a resolution of the UN General Assembly in 1959.

BJP demands Afzal Guru’s hanging

            BJP has today demanded the hanging date of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru. On this day in 2001, some terrorists, including Afzal Guru, had attacked the Parliament of India with deadly weapons.   About seven security personnel were killed in the incident while saving the elected representatives of the country. Along with Afzal Guru, two more terrorists were awarded the death sentence by the special court. However, the clemency petition is now with the union home ministry.   The BJP leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj has said that hanging Afzal Guru will be a real tribute to those who had laid down their lives in the attack. She talked to reporters after paying homage to the nine martys of the attack in the capital. Swaraj questioned why the government had been hesitating to hang Guru, who was awarded the death sentence thrice by the apex court in India.   However, the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs R.P.N.Singh has said that the issue should not be politicized and the courts were dealing the matter. However, the General Secretary of All India Congress Committee Digvijay Singh has announced recently that they are infavour of hanging Guru.

Centre to change British era laws

            Union government has been trying to change some laws which were made during the British rule. It had asked the states to give their opinions on the same.   The first one to go is the Section 309 of Indian Penal Code by which committing suicide is a crime. The Law Commission of India has stated in its report, ‘No one tries to take away his life by opting for suicide. Any person opts for the ultimate step only when there are pathetic conditions in his/her life. Booking such ones, if survived in the suicide attempt, is so pathetic thing’.   With the observation of the commission, the suicide section may be amended. In the past, Rajya Sabha too had given its nod to abolish the inhuman section. The step could not take its shape as the Lok Sabha was abolished at that time. Committing the suicide is a crime only in the countries like Malaysia, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Singapore in the world.   On the other side, the Standing Committee of the Parliament has recommended the changing of Indian Penal Code – 1860, Indian Evidence Act-1872, Criminal Procedure Code -1973 as most of the rules in those were framed during the British rule.   The Union Minister for Law has given the above reply for the questions asked by some members.

Will Kamal Hassan’s new experiment be a success?

  Perhaps, Kamal Hassan is always known for his experiments with his films. He appears as a patriotic citizen in one film and as a dreaded terrorist in his next film. He alone can dare to do 10 different roles in one film. He alone can act as a villager just wearing a small cloth around his waist or as a politician with a big tummy and ugly mouth, despite being a super star in the film industry. He is always ready to do any kind of experiments with his films. In other words, films are his experiments and the industry is his lab.   Once again, he is coming with a new experiment. He is planning to relase his heavy budget film ‘Viswaroopam’ on small screens prior to its release on the big screens. His idea virtually made the distributors’ open their mouths and left them in deep shock. Imagine a big film of that caliber can be watched at all the comfort of our living rooms having a cup coffee in hands on the very first day of its relase. ‘Viswaroopam’ is releasing on small screens few hours prior to its release on the big screens. Kamal Hassan is all set to do this experiment on January 11th, on the release date of his film.   According to him, people can watch his film ‘Viswaroopam’ through their DTH connections by paying Rs.1, 000 per only one show to be telecasted on January 11th. Responding to the objections raised by the film distributors he said “I don’t think it will affect the openings of the film anyway because, I believe a handful of people who can afford to pay Rs.1, 000 per only one show can have this advantage. Since it was digitalized and coming with very advanced technology the question of piracy doesn’t arise. By allowing a few thousands of people watch the movie at their homes won’t generate any negative talk to affect the film openings or its collections. Moreover, people who watch this movie on their small screens will certainly love to enjoy theatrical experience of this film. So, everyone should encourage any idea that gives oxygen to our film industry.”   Apart from playing dual roles as terrorist and Army Chief in the film, Kamal Hassan is also directed and had his money invested in this film. Kollywood beauties Pooja Kumar and Andrea Jeremiah are playing female leads opposite him in this movie. Shekhar Kapur Jaideep Ahlawat Zarina Wahab, Rahulbose, and Samrat Chakrabarti are playing important roles in this movie.   Kamal Hassan is releasing this movie in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi simultaneously on 11th January that is in coming Pongal festive session. According to film Nagar sources the film has crossed Rs.160 crores budget. This film is being made under Rajkamal International banner and PVP Cinemas jointly.

Irfan Pathan shares dais with Narendra Modi

            Ace cricketer Irfan Pathan has appeared in a political meeting at Kheda in Gujarat today. At the meeting, he shared the dais with the state chief minister Narendra Modi, who is seeking the third term to rule the state.   Irfan has shared the dais at the campaign of the party in the area. However, Modi thanked the cricketer for his presence. The second phase of the polling in the state will be held on December 17.   The Vadodara based cricketer has been out of the Indian cricket team due to an injury. He waved at the crowd, who came to listen to the speech of the state chief minister. Modi has been trying to get the votes of the muslim community in the state who constitutes about 10% of the total population of the state. In many constituencies, the community is in a position to influence the outcome of the polling.   However, Irfan did not give any statement in the meeting in particular.

‘Pawar can be PM if joins NDA’

            ‘Please join in NDA so that you can be the Prime Minister of India’, said Shiv Sena leader Manohar Joshi to Union Agriculture minister and NCP chief Sharad Pawar.   What Joshi is saying is that as the NDA is not in a position to find an unanimous choice for the post of the prime minister, Pawar will have a better choice for the post from the alliance. However, it may be recalled that one Sanjay Raut said in 2009 that if there was any leader from Maharashtra who could be the prime minister, it was only Sharad Pawar.   Shiv Sena is a constituent of the NDA which is led by BJP. The Pawar’s NCP is an important constituent of the ruling UPA both at centre and in Maharashtra. Sharad Pawar is the senior minister at centre. Pawar was also a frontrunner for the post of Prime Minister of India once in nineties too. He has good rapport with the leaders of various parties at the moment.   The former speaker of Lok Sabha and the former chief minister of Maharashtra Joshi showered praises on Pawar on the occasion of the birthday of the latter.

No roaming charges from 2013

              Union Minister for Telecommunications Kapil Sibal has said that the mobile phone subscribers need not pay the roaming charges from next year. However, the minister said that it will be a reality once it gets the approval of the union cabinet.   The policy was approved in May this year. As part of the National Telecom Policy 2012, the government had announced earlier in the year that there would be no roaming charges. The idea of doing away with roaming charges was also considered when the Dayanidhi Maran was the incharge of the ministry.   After it gets the approval of the cabinet, the mobile phone users can keep the same number even they came out of their own telecom circle. However, there are some fears that the mobile phone operators may hike their tariffs in order to compensate the policy of ‘no roaming’. One operator told the media that the move of the government will benefit only 10 % of the customers.

The Gujarat elections affect on UPA

  While the elections in Gujarat hardly in 48 hours to go, the Wal-Mart issue that rocks the parliament turns embarrassing for the Congress party. Even though, it tries to lighten the issue by telling the opposition parties that it as a very normal practice followed by business houses all over the world, the pressure from the opposition parties demanding for an parliamentary committee inquiry into the issue has forced UPA to make an announcement in their favor. The UPA government has announced that it is going to constitute a one man committee headed by a retired judge to investigate the issue and agrees that it also feel very bad about lobbying in the country.   However, the actual intention behind its decision might be Gujarat elections. Hardly 48 hours to go for the assembly elections in Gujarat, UPA don’t want its rivals to encash this issue to influence the voters to vote against Congress party in the state. UPA even tried its hands by announcing increase of 9 subsidized cylinders from present 6, for which Election Commission immediately objects. Despite Congress party’s efforts to win the hearts of the Gujarati voters with its schemes Modi looks more confident of winning these elections. He was seen picking every issue of the Congress party that gives advantage in the elections, come it may be a cash- transfer scheme or a Wal-Mart issue. However, the desperate Congress party is trying all its practiced tricks to record a victory in Gujarat, which appears very blink.

Manisha Koirala Cancer Surgery Successful

    Actress Manisha Koirala, who was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer, underwent a successful surgery in New York Monday. "Manisha underwent a surgery on Monday at around 9 a.m. I got a message from her family members and they said it was a successful surgery," said Subroto Ghosh Manisha`s manager. "Manisha`s mother, father and her brother are by her side. One of her close friends is also there with her," he added. Several speculations regarding her health were made following her hospitalisation in Mumbai. Manisha was admitted to the Jaslok Hospital Nov 28 after she reportedly fell unconscious. However, the reason behind her illness was not made clear. Later it was reported that she is flying to the US for treatment for cancer.  

Nelson Mandela suffering from lung infection

       ‘Former South African president Nelson Mandela has been suffering from lung infection. However, he is responding well to the treatment’, said a spokesperson of the President of the country. The statement said that Mandela had been providing with all the necessary treatment.   The 94-year-old anti apartheid icon was first admitted at 1 Military Hospital near Pretoria on last Saturday. It was found a year ago that he had an acute respiratory infection. He has retired from public life since he was out of the top post in the country.    The government officials said that Mandela does not face any immediate danger. The office of the President explained that it was too early to give an update on his health as they have to hear the same first from the doctors.   It may be recalled that he has a series of health problems in his life. He had tuberculosis during his life in prison. He suffered from prostate cancer too in 2001.   Nelson Mandela is a leader of a struggle against the racist white rule in the country. He was released from the jail in 1990 after 27 years. He could complete one five year term as the President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999. The most influential men in the 20th century was first hospitalized on last Saturday.
