Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy for the first time after assuming the office has made a bold statement today. If one could remember his speech made at Ravindra Bharati few days ago, which reflects his depressed mood certainly will agree that there is drastic change in his attitude these days.
After successfully confining all his rivals in the Assembly to their seats with his ‘SC, ST Sub-plan bill’ plan he made a bold statement in the Assembly lobbies. Replying to a media question, he said “Those who oppose the cabinet decisions are welcome to resign. If not, I myself will send them out from my cabinet. Cabinet decision means a collective decision and not an individual one. So, every one of us should oblige that decision. No second thoughts or questions in that regard.”
Responding to another question, CM said “I am not bothered about Peddireddy’s remarks. Whoever, plans to leave the party is expected to make such remarks only. “
Replying to another question Kiran Kumar Reddy was found more confident than ever. When media people ask him about cabinet not sanctioning permission to prosecute the CBI-accused-Minister of his cabinet Mr.Dharmana Prasada rao, he shot question to media asking “What do you think when the cabinet refused permission for his prosecution? We are clear on this. Don’t compare Dharmana’s case with Mopidevi’s case. Both are different. We have taken correct decision regarding Dharmana’s issue.”
Speaking about the high tariff power bills due to the surcharge being levied, CM said “Every one of us knows that there is shortage of power and gas supplies. We are trying our level best to overcome these problems. But, people should realize this and has to bear with it.”
Overall, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy seems to be gathering courage to face the crisis situation in the party and the government. Perhaps, he got some positive signal from party high command about his chair.
