CM dharna at Jantar Mantar begins

    CM Kiran Kumar Reddy as announced earlier has started dharna at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi today around 11 am after paying tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat. Seemandhra Congress MPs, MLAs, union and state ministers and even PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana joins his Mouna Deeksha today.   Union ministers Kavuri Sambhasiva rao, Chiranjeevi, Purandeswari, JD Sheelam, state ministers Sailajanath, Ganta Srinivasa rao, C.Ramachandrayya, TG Venkatesh, MPs Lagadapati, Rayapati, Harsha Kumar, Subbirami Reddy and many MLAs are among the present. AP NGOs also joins his dharna. While, CM Kiran and Botsa were seen sitting silently, all others, who participating in dharna are speaking to state and national media reporters. All usual fair like slogan shouting, Samaikyandhra songs in the back ground, displaying Placards with ‘Save Andhra Pradesh’, participants’ speeches condemning bifurcation is there to enhance the spirit of their dharna.   They will sit for dharna till evening 4pm. Later, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy accompanied by Seemandhra MPs, MLAs and Ministers will meet President Pranab Mukharji at 6pm. They will submit a memorandum appealing him not to allow the Centre to present the T-bill in the Parliament that has been rejected by state assembly with voice vote. They will explain how their party adopts an unconstitutional method to divide the state without having the consent of the people of the state. Whether their dharna has any effect on the Centre or not definitely it is considered to be a slap on face for Congress high command. If, they could convince the President with their arguments, it would be a humiliation for Centre.

Nadella Satyanarayana is Microsoft CEO

  Hyderabad born Nadella Satyanarayana (46) has become CEO of the global IT Giant Microsoft Company. He will be the third CEO of the $78 billion Company, who will succeed Steve Ballmer. For the first time in Microsoft history, two Indians- Hyderabad born Nadella Satya and Chennai born Sundar Pichai have been shortlisted for this top post of the Company. However, Satya has been appointed as CEO of the Company. He has been serving the Company since 1992.   Nadella Satya was born in Hyderabad in 1967. His father BN Yugandhar was a member of Planning Commission during 2004-09. Satya has schooled at Hyderabad Public School in Begumpet, Hyderabad. He completes his engineering degree in Electronics and Communications from Manipal Institute of Technology in Karnataka and joins sun Micro Systems. Later he begins his career with Microsoft in year 1992 and now become CEO of the Company.   Nadella fall in love with his schoolmate Anupama while they both graduating from Manipal Institute and they got married after settling US. The couple has three kids.

Will S’ Cong. MPs surrender to high command?

  All Seemandhra and Telangana Congress MPs, except Vundavalli Arun Kumar and Sabbam Hari have attended the ongoing war room meeting held by Congress high command. However, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, who is also said to be invited is absent to meeting despite being in New Delhi. Seemandhra Union Ministers Chiranjeevi, Purandeswari, Killi Kriparani and JD Sheelam also attended this meeting. KVP Ramachandra rao is said to be left the meeting in the middle, but the reasons are not known.   Congress high command may be insisting them, especially Seemandhra MPs and Ministers to co-operate with it in passing the T-Bill. If it could make them fall in line with party, then it would be easy for it to isolate CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, who is challenging it by sitting for a dharna in New Delhi tomorrow. However, it would be very difficult for the MPs to surrender to high command, as they will be spitted by the people back at home. Moreover, almost all Seemandhra MLAs, Ministers are arriving New Delhi to join CM Kiran Kumar Reddy’s dharna tomorrow. So, it would be very tricky situation for both high command and Seemandhra MPs. If, they are reluctant to obey its orders, then it may force to take action against them. If, all this is part of Congress big bifurcation game, obviously they will be suspended from party for disobeying its orders so as they also claim themselves Samaikya champions.

Cong. leaders Dharna Competitions at Delhi tomorrow

  The reports about CM Kiran Kumar Reddy staging a dharna at Jantar Mantar tomorrow in protest against bifurcation, has encouraged T-Congress leaders also. They also decide to stage dharna at Rajghat tomorrow. But the actual reason for their dharna is not known. Whether they are competing with CM Kiran’s dharna or doing for Telangana is not known.   But one thing is sure. All these Congress leaders are creating embarrassment to their high command. National media and BJP will grab this opportunity to make fun of Congress party and its leadership. Especially, Narendra Modi, who never wants to leave such an opportunity, will definitely highlight this point in his every public meeting from now onwards. Hence, Congress high command should act quickly before it is too late. Probably, it may order CM Kiran Kumar Reddy not to do any Deeksha right under its nose. But, the question is whether he obey his high command’s orders or not.

Shinde announces T-bill schedule

  Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has announced the schedule for T-Bill processing. He said that GoM has approved the bill after making some changes in it. It will be sent to Cabinet meeting on February 6th. Cabinet will forward it to President Pranab Mukharji on February 7th after approving the bill. Once, the President gives his nod for the bill it will be presented in Rajya Sabha on February 10th” said Shinde.   Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh, who never comes forward to speak about bifurcation issue or about the unrest prevailing in the state because of it today, has talked to media about the bill. He expressed confident to pass the bill in Parliament. Congress high command seems to push the bill into Parliament despite all odds, so as it can escape from the blame, incase if it fails get it approved due to any reason.

Will S’ Cong. Min.& MPs follow CM Kiran?

  Lagadapati Rajagopal has told the media that if CM Kiran Kumar Reddy is sitting for a dharna at New Delhi protesting bifurcation decision, all Seemandhra union and state ministers, MPs and MLAs have to follow him without fail.   But, many high commands’ loyalists like Chiranjeevi, Kavuri, Sheelam, Panabaka, Purandeswari, Killi Kriparani, Subbirami Reddy, Botsa Satyanarayana, Dokka Manikyavara Prasad may not afford to join his public protest. If can’t then they have to face the ire of Seemandhra people and APNGOs’ or if join have to face high command’s anguish. Either way they have to pay. Even if they join CM Kiran Kumar Reddy in his dharna, he only gets the credit and endorsed as Samaikyandhra Champion and not anyone else. So, Kiran Kumar Reddy has virtually pushed them to edge.

CM’s dharna at Delhi on 5th

  There was slight change in CM Kiran Kumar Reddy’s dharna to be held at New Delhi. Although, he is leaving for New Delhi tomorrow morning, he and Seemandhra leaders will conduct dharna on Wednesday afternoon, after meeting President Pranab Mukharji on the same day morning, said minister Sailajanath to media.   If so, either he may meet opposition party leaders seeking their support to stop the bill or may meet his high command as a last attempt to pursue revoke its bifurcation decision. Since, he is still believed to be loyal Congress man, he can’t afford to meet the opposition leaders in his present capacity. If did, it would be nothing but drawing a line between him and the party.   He was asked to attend the war-room meeting with party high command on tomorrow evening, where he may be asked to fall in line with party or quit. If he avoids that meeting, it is throwing a challenge to his high command, with which it may be forced to dismiss him from his CM post and even party. So, his two days’ camping at New Delhi is very significant.

Will CM attend War-room meeting?

  CM Kiran Kumar Reddy is leaving for New Delhi tomorrow, not that he is invited to attend war-room meeting with his high command, but stage dharna protesting its decision of bifurcation of the state. If so, high command would have ordered him not to come to Delhi. But, it lets him land in Delhi tomorrow morning and stage dharna right under its nose.   CM Kiran has sought President Pranab Mukharji’s appointment for tomorrow or day after tomorrow. If, he is given appointment for tomorrow, he may skip the war-room meeting with his high command, otherwise he has to return to Hyderabad to skip the meeting. Earlier, he avoids attending crucial AICC meeting. He even avoids meeting party state political in-charge Digvijay Singh. So, he is likely to skip this meeting also.   If so, high command would be obliged to take action against him, but it will be too late for it because, by the time he will damage the party reputation with his dharna and rally with his MLAs, MPs and Ministers to President’s palace. Obviously, his dharna and rally will focal point for national media and opposition parties. But, the million dollar question is why high command let him do so?

BJP starts game on T-Bill

      While, Congress is trying to highlight the point that BJP has to support the Tbill for creating Telangana state, BJP is also begins the game today. Sushma Swaraj, the BJP floor leader in Parliament speaking to media “Congress which couldn’t controle its own leaders, MPS and Chief Minister, how can it run the Parliament sessions smoothly and how can introduce the T-Bill in the house, while its own MPS are disrupting the house proceedings shouting slogans. If it could manage them all, we have no objection to co-operate to it in the house. But, when Its own CM, who rejects the bill sent by it and planning stage dharna and rallies at New Delhi, how can Congress ask for our support? First let the Congress teach discipline to its own MPS and ministers and then talk about passing the T-bill,” said Sushma Swaraj.   Her statement is another indication of change of attitude in BJP’s stand on T-bill. BJP wants to transfer the blame onto Congress for playing double game on T-bill by letting its MPs create havoc in the house.

CM dares Digvijay and Jaipal Reddy

CM Kiran Kumar Reddy dares party state political in-charge Digvijay Singh and union minister Jaipal Reddy for their comments on the resolution passed against T-bill.   Speaking to media on Sunday evening “I want to know when Digvijay believes the resolution is just a white paper, then why he is so afraid of it? Why the GoM wants to take legal opinion on it? I have also worked as a Speaker before becoming Chief Minister. Hence, I know all the rules. So far around 80 resolutions passed on several occasions on voice vote and all of they have the legal and constitutional authenticity," said Kiran Kumar Reddy.   He further says, "Lok Pal Bill and Food Security bill were passed with voice vote only. Jharkhand, Chattisgarh and Uttaranchal states were created with voice vote in Parliament. Then how come the resolution passed against T-bill has no authenticity? They should know the voice vote means un-opposed or un-challenged vote. So far no such resolution has been ignored by the Parliament. The resolution is Brahmastra on T-Bill. Even after knowing all these things, some seniors like Jaipal Reddy are questioning the authenticity of the resolution.”

Will high command let Kiran stage dharna at Delhi?

  Now it is confirmed that CM Kiran Kumar Reddy will hold a dharna at New Delhi on 4th February. He said that he wrote a letter to President Pranab Mukharji asking for his appointment for 4th or 5th to pursue him not allow the Centre submit the T-bill into parliament.   Now the question is will Congress high command allows him to create nuisance at New Delhi ahead of Parliament sessions? If not will Kiran drop his idea of conducting dharna and rally in New Delhi? What if he ignores to obey high command’s order? Then how Congress will react to him if he conducts dharna and rally? How many Seemandhra MPs, MLAs, Ministers will accompany him in dharna? How the absentees give explanation for not joining his dharna? There are many such questions that can get answer in the next two days.   If high command denies him permission then he may do the same at Hyderabad and submit the memorandum to Governor as an alternative plan, for which high command also may not have any objections.

Raghurama Raju joins BJP

  Raghurama Raju, who quits YSR Congress party three days ago has joined BJP in the presence of party president Rajnath Singh at New Delhi today. He flays Jagan for not giving respect to elders and seniors in the party. He said he will fight out YSR Congress party in the elections.   Although his joining into BJP draws some criticism, for it is for Telangana creation, the gradual change in its stand comes as a blessing for him. BJP is now saying that it can support the T-Bill only if Congress agrees to certain amendments that it is going to propose in the T-Bill to safeguard the interests of Seemandhra people. So, Raghurama Raju may not find any difficulty to move along with BJP in Seemandhra. Moreover, BJP is likely to enter into poll alliance with TDP. So, it will enhance his chances of winning elections. But, it will be upsetting news for TDP aspirants in Narasapuram.

Is AAP drifting away from its goal?

  Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal seems to be distracting from his goal. He is concentrating on his rivals rather than completing the tasks that he and his party have promised to people of Delhi in the elections. During party official bearers meeting held yesterday at Delhi he released a lengthy list of corrupt politicians and announces that AAP will put its candidates against all of them.   His list includes Rahul Gandhi, union ministers Chidambaram, Shinde, Kapil Sibal, Salman Kurshid, Veerappa Moili, Prakash Jaiswal, Kamalnath, GK Vasan, and hundred others. He also blames BJP and Congress party for spending Rs.500 crore each to create brand image for them to win the elections. He said such leaders to be defeated by the people as they are no way helpful to the country. He asked his party workers and leaders to prepare many such lists so as Aam Admi party can put its candidates against every corrupt politician.   Arvind Kejriwal may be correct. There may be hundreds and thousands of corrupt politicians in the country, but it doesn’t mean that he and his party leaders alone are clean and honest. There is Vinod Kumar Binny, AAP MLA, who revolts against him and his government for not giving him minister post in his cabinet. However he alleges that Arvind Kejriwal and his government is drifting away from its goal and fails to address the problems that it has promised to people of Delhi. So, if Arvind Kejriwal and his party could concentrate on implementing their poll promises rather than downgrading their party standards, it may be helpful for his party.

Is SPY. Reddy to take a kick from Jagan?

  No one in YSR Congress party knows when they will get a kick from Jagan Mohan Reddy. Few months ago, Congress MP Sabbam Hari, who is almost ready to join YCP, got a kick from Jagan for stating YCP will support the Congress party after general elections. Next, Mareppa jumped out of the party before getting a kick from Jagan. Potluri Varaparasad is clever enough to avoid his kick. Recently, party Narasapuram constituency in-charge Raghurama Krishnam Raju got a kick from Jagan. Now seems, it is Congress MP SPY Reddy’s turn to have a kick from Jagan.   SPY Reddy has recently joined YSR Congress party, but still continuing as Congress MP. Jagan is fuming on him for praising CM Kiran Kumar Reddy as Samaikya Simham (Lion) and Samaikya Champion after T-bill was defeated in both houses. SPY Reddy might have forgot that he quits Congress and is speaking from YSR party office. Hence, Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is currently touring in Nellore district as a part of his ‘Samaikya Shankaravam’ is said to be ordered his party leaders at Hyderabad to ask SPY Reddy to conduct a press meet immediately giving explanation on why he talked so. If, SPY. Reddy refuses to obey Jagan’s order, obviously he also has to politely accept a kick from Jagan Mohan Reddy, before returning to Congress party.

T-Ball is in Cong. BJP courts

  Now, the bifurcation issue has been shifted from state to New Delhi. Though the state players are also participating in this game, now the main players are Congress and BJP only. Both of they have to make their moves very cautiously as their every move is going to win or lose a seat back in the state. As of now, Congress is firmly reiterating its commitment for Telangana state creation. But, it is aware that unless its rival BJP supports the bill, it can’t bailout the bill in the Parliament. So, it will try to highlight this point, not for getting its support, but to corner BJP in this bifurcation game. If it could spread this message to people of Telangana, then BJP has to support the bill, otherwise it has to pay dearly for it. If, BJP supports the bill, Congress can claim entire credit to self for granting Telangana state and ask the people return the favors in form of votes to it. So, it is win and win situation strategy adopted by Congress party.   BJP also very well knew that even if it supports the bill it can’t gain any political mileage instead it will be strengthening the hands of Congress party in Telangana. So, it has to find an excuse to decline its support to the bill. It can ask for excuse by proposing certain amendments to the bill that are not acceptable to Congress party. So, it can throw the ball into Congress court and escape unhurt in this issue. If, BJP refuse to support the bill with any reason, Congress can find an excuse for not granting Telangana and still can ask the people for votes blaming BJP as sinner. So, it is much more a ball game for Congress and BJP than a sensitive issue that is related to crores of people.

Sujana Chowdary hints going to court against T-Bill

  Soon after Assembly role completes on the T-Bill, many Andhra and Telangana political leaders of major political parties start landing at New Delhi for lobbying to push/stop the T-Bill in Parliament. TDP MP Sujana Chowdary is one among those many leaders landed at New Delhi.   Speaking to media he said “Centre is playing every trick it knows to push the T-Bill in the Parliament. But, we will definitely stop it from moving ahead. Actually, if such proposal comes from the people of the state and we have asked the Centre to implement it, then it can be justified. But, Centre has made a big mistake by forcing its decision on the people of the state for its political gains. Hence being their representatives, we will fight it out and ensure justice to them. The way Congress is trying to gather support for the T-Bill, same way we also will meet the opposition parties, explain them how the bifurcation of the state is going to impact the lives of crores of Telugu people and seek their support to stop the bill in Parliament. If necessary we will knock the doors of Supreme Court to stop the bill.”   This is the first sign that hints the bill has to face legal battle also in the courts. If, legal battle is started one can’t say what would be the outcome and then whether Congress will be able to push the bill through Parliament.

Chaitanyaraju drops from race

  MLC Chaitnyaraju has dropped from Rajya Sabha race. He has withdrawn his nominations and told the media that he is dropping from contest upon the advice of CM Kiran Kumar Reddy. However, Adhala Prabhakar Reddy has not withdrawn from race despite pressures from several Congress leaders. Hence, there are total seven contestants in fray for six seats. K.Keshav rao and Adhala Prabhakar Reddy has to garner support for winning the seat, while all others have sufficient backing from their respective parties and support of MLAs.

Congress mounting pressure for C.Raju withdrawal

  Congress party is applying all the tactics it knows to see rebel candidate Chaitanya Raju with draw from Rajya Sabha race. First Botsa Satyanarayana wrote a letter to returning officer raising doubts about the details furnished in his nomination papers. But the returning officer Sadaram has verified and approves his nomination. Hence, next minister Vatti Vasantha Kumar swings into action and asks the returning officer to reject Chaitnya Raju’s nomination as a non-bailable arrest warrant has been issued against him, which he conceals in his nomination form.   But, the Minister ignores the fact that returning officer also sought information from police about this complaint before confirming about his candidature. Congress, which is complaining against him, should realize that it conveniently ignores about his back ground all these days and remembers only when he challenges its candidates. Congress is also revealing that it couldn’t shrug off its die-hard old habit of twisting hand of its enemies.

Will bifurcation stops by rejecting the T-bill?

  Indeed, what Digvijay Singh has said about successfully completing major part of bifurcation process is true, because now Centre is free to handle this issue anyway it likes to do, considering that President doesn’t raise objections and no legal problems pops up over the T-Bill.   T-leaders unanimously opine that Seemandhra leaders have played all this drama only to win the hearts of the people that they represent, but did nothing harm to the T-Bill as the resolution passed against will have no impact on it. However, every Seemandhra leader is very happy for getting a perfect reason to claim himself/herself as war hero, who defeated the T-Bill in both houses.   But, they have to answer a simple question. Will bifurcation of the state stopped with by rejecting the T-Bill in both houses? ‘ No!’ says Digvijay Singh.   He said the resolution will have no impact or will bind the Centre from passing the T-Bill in Parliament. He said Article: 3 of constitution provide sufficient powers to the Centre for dividing any state in the country. He may be very correct as far as Article 3 is concerned, but not if President of India raises any objections on the bill or Supreme Court serves notices to the Centre seeking its explanation on it, if someone files petitions against the Centre and the T-Bill. It also has to ensure BJP support to it. If, it could overcome these three major hurdles, nothing can stop it from dividing the state.
