Chinese Media threatens India for expelling its journalists

In reaction to India reportedly expelling the Chinese journalists because it believed they were impersonating people to gain access to sensitive and restricted areas and were therefore a security threat, the Chinese media has come down harshly on India.  China's state-run media has warned India of "serious consequences" if its decision against renewing the visas of a group of journalists was retaliation for Beijing blocking India from joining the Nuclear Suppliers Group or NSG, a 48-country nuclear trade bloc. "On the visa issue this time, we should take actions to display our reaction.   We at least should make a few Indians feel Chinese visas are also not easy to get," a media report said. "Crowned by Western public opinion as the world's biggest democracy, the Indians have a strong sense of pride," it added. Three Chinese journalists from the state-run Xinhua news agency have been denied permission to stay on in India. According to sources, Delhi-based Bureau Chief Wu Qiang and Mumbai-based reporters Tang Lu and Ma Qiang were being watched by security agencies for several months now for "activities beyond their official work". "No official reason was given for the rejection of the visa renewals. Some Indian media claimed that the three journalists are suspected of impersonating other people to access several restricted departments in Delhi and Mumbai with fake names. There were also reports attributing it to the journalists' meeting with exiled Tibetan activists."

Virat kohli's deadly warning!

The Indian cricket team gave a fine performance in its first test in West Indies against the host which resulted them in winning the match by an innings and 92-run win over West Indies in Antigua Test. This is not only their biggest win outside Asia but also Anil Kumble's first as coach. Virat Kohli's maiden Test double hundred had a major role to play in India's 566 for 8, but the all-round star was Ashwin. He made 113 and stitched a 168-run stand with Kohli for the fifth wicket, before his bowling antics on the fourth day. All three of Ashwin’s Test centuries have come against West Indies, although this is the first time he has scored a ton away from home. In a stern warning for the brilliant performances which come against the host by the visiting side Virat Kohli said, "If we have a chance to win 4-0, then why not. We don't need to complacent.   If we end up getting a 2-0 lead, it's not that we are playing for a draw in thenext two Tests". "Everyone knew what we needed to do in the match (Anitigua Test), and we executed them as well, so you get good feedback from the management as a result, you feel good about your performance. You can't ask for anything better. You bat just once, and you bowl the opposition out twice." Talking about how Anil Kumble's first outing was as a coach, he said, "Having played for so long I think he (Kumble) understands how the players feel about a victory. He congratulated everyone and gave special mention to the guys who made important contributions in the game".
