Errabelli Dayakar Rao, L Ramana, Ravula Chandrasekhar Rao and other senior leaders of the T-TDP claim that Telangana Assembly Speaker Madhusudhanachary has agreed to take a decision on Talasani Srinivas Yadav’s resignation letter submitted to him in last year December. He is likely to take decision on other Congress and TDP MLAs also, who are currently serving the TRS government.

But the ruling TRS government can’t afford to take such a risky decision ahead of GHMC elections. If, he wins from his Sanath Nagar constituency then it would be a blessing for TRS, otherwise it would spread its negative influence on the GHMC elections. Hence, the Speaker may prolong his decision for few days taking excuse of communicating with the state government. Later, he may postpone it till the end of upcoming monsoon Assembly sessions. By the time, if some other issue pops up, this matter can be put on hold for few more months, till GHMC elections are over.

In case, if the Speaker approves Talasani Srinivas Yadav’s resign within two or three days, then it would be considered as a first victory for opposition parties over the ruling TRS government. This will provide a great opportunity to them to test their strengths ahead of GHMC elections.
