AP seed capital city highlights

Singapore team lead by their minister Eeshwaran handed over the master plan of the seed capital city of Andhra Pradesh State to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu today and returns to Singapore today evening. The seed capital city will be developed into mega city.
Seven regional and 7 development centers will be constructed in the capital city. Guntur, Sattenpalli, Tenali, Gudiwada, Gannavaram, Nandigama and Nuziveedu will be developed as regional centers.
The seed capital city is divided into four major parts. 1. Amaravati Gateway. 2. Amaravati Downtown. 3. Amaravati Government core area. 4. Amaravati Water Front area. The Seed capital will be built in 16.9 Sq. Km. Two high rise buildings with 45 floors each will be built side by side on the left side of the Krishna River that will accommodate Secretariat etc. Similarly, IT towers, multiplex theaters etc. will be accommodated in the high rise buildings on the right side of the river.
There will be 250 Km long water ways called as ‘Blue Ways’ will be developed inside the seed capital. People can reach any place in the city using boats in these Blue Ways. There will be elevated express highways, walk ways and special corridors for bicycles etc. in the seed capital city.
Around 3 lakh residential complexes will be built in the seed capital. However, the seed capital city is designed to accommodate nearly 40 lakh people in the initial stages itself and its capacity keep growing as capital city spreads around seed capital city. Capital city is designed to generate employment to nearly 7 lakh people and that number also keep growing along with the capital city development.
CM Chandrababu Naidu said that his government will try to complete the 1st phase construction of the seed capital city before 2018 in Swiss Challenge system. He welcomed Singapore Minister Eeshwaran’s proposal of his country taking part in construction activities of the capital city. Chandrababu Naidu said that he welcome anyone who comes to extend their support for construction of the capital city.
