Is Speaker playing hide and seek game with MPs

It appears Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar is playing hide and seek game with Seemandhra MPs, especially with Lagadapati Rajagopal, who is insisting for approval of his resignation letter without any delay. She refused to give appointment to him but conveyed a message to him through her Secretary General asking him to wait until she takes a decision soon. Lagadapati fumes with the response threaten to stage a dharna in front of her office, if he is not given appointment to meet her. However, Speaker simply ignores his warning.
This hints that Congress party is not in a mood to approve anyone’s resignation letter in the prevailing situation as it badly need their support to stay afloat its UPA government. However, even if approves the resignations of its 11 MPs, there may no immediate threat for its government, because it has the support of SP, BSP and few other parties from outside.
However, it appears to be quite precautious by sitting on the MPs and Union Ministers resignations. Probably, it might be expecting them change their decision once the strikes and agitations in Seemandhra are called off completely.
