Vijayawada City Congress party president Malladi Vishnu, who was absconding from police, is reportedly spotted in Hyderabad. He went into underground ever since police named him in the spurious liquor deaths case that takes place in his Swarna Bar and Restaurant in Krishna Lanka few days ago. Hence, two police teams left for Hyderabad today from Vijayawada to arrest him. They are in contact with Hyderabad city police and taking their help for his arrest.

 

Vijayawada City Police have also summoned Malladi Vishnu’s mother and their relatives who are holding license of the bar for questioning. But, they also did not appear before police today. So, police may take them into custody very soon. The bar staff reportedly admitted that they have mixed some chemical content in the liquor to enhance its power, which makes it deadly poison instead, with which five persons died on the spot. Hence, police have booked cases against nine persons including Malladi Vishnu. Police are expecting to take Malladi Vishnu into custody before this evening.
