Telugu Desam party president N. Chandrababu Naidu has demanded that the CBI should enquire into the VVIP helicopter scandal and asked the party MPs to raise the issue in the ensuing Budget sessions in Parliament.
Mr. Naidu made these observations while addressing party MPs on Sunday while taking a break during the Vastunna Meekosam yatra in Guntur district.
The meeting attended by MPs, Nama Nageswara Rao, C.M Ramesh, K. Narayana, Devender Goud etc pressed for an aggressive stand against the corruption and particularly target the Central and the State governments.
Some of the MPs, M. Venugopala Reddy (Narsaraopet), Sujana Chowdary (RS) and Hari Krishna (RS) were conspicuous by their absence.
