AP NGOs president P.Ashok Babu speaking to media said that NGOs organizations have decided to extend their strike from October 15th to 20th stressing for Samaikyandhra. “We have decided not to attend talks with Ministers’ sub-committee, which asked us to meet tomorrow. We believe there is nothing left to discuss with it any further. Hence, we would like to talk to CM only.”
He asked all Seemandhra MLAs, irrespective of their parties to make themselves available between 10th and 12th in their own constituencies to assure the people that they will fight for Samaikyandhra. He said now the people have lost faith on Seemandhra MPs and Union Ministers as they bluffed and betrayed the people. So, he appeals MLAs to consider this as last opportunity to prove their honesty for Samaikyandhra.
He gave a bandh call for all the Central government organizations, including banks on 8, 9, 17, 18 and 19th of October. He said the NGO representatives will talk with Central government employees’ unions soon to bring them into strike.
He warned the political parties and leaders do not try to enter into NGOs’ strike. He advised them if they want to fight for Samaikyandhra, they can conduct agitations separately but warned not to create rift between the employees with their entry.
He condemned attacks by MP Harsha Kumar’s sons on the NGOs and demands the police to file criminal cases against both his sons. He also condemned attacks on the employees by police in Vizianagaram and Guntur districts.
