Vijayawada to go Wi-Fi with 4G from next month

 

Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama rao said that Hyderabad will have 100 percent Wi- Fi coverage very soon. While, the Telangana state capital is going Wi-Fi way, Vijayawada, where the proposed AP state capital city is emerging, is also going Wi-Fi that too with 4G connectivity by end of this year. Reliance Company bagged the contract to provide Wi-Fi services in the city.

 

We are going to launch this Wi-Fi connectivity on December 28th on the occasion of the birth anniversary of late Dhirubhai Ambani. Already, laying of optical cables and setting 4G towers works are progressing with brisk pace since last two months. We will be able to provide Triple Services of Audio, Video and Data, once this cable laying works are completed. We are also going to launch the Internet Protocol Television services from March next year,” said P Manu Vasudevan, General Manager, Reliance Infocomm Limited. Besides these projects, Reliance is also planning to set-up a ‘Signature Park’ with an investment of Rs.2 crore in 20 acres of land in the city.
