The newly appointed Congress President of Tamilnadu state-Elangoan has suggested the Tamil Super star Rajnikanth not to join any political party, come how much pressure he faces from the political parties.
He suggested him so because the senior Congress leader Vasan, who recently quits the party and floating his own party very soon is trying to woo Rajnikanth to attract him into his new party. Elangoan said there are fans for Rajnikanth in all political parties in the state. So, every one respects him very much. So, he suggests Rajnikanth it is better to stay away from politics to uphold his dignity.”
Vasan is one of very popular and powerful leaders in the state. He has good relations with all big people in the Tamil Film Industry. So, Elangoan fears that if he could convince Rajnikanth to join his new party, it will simply change the political equations and strengths in the state, especially in the absence of Jayalalitha from the government. So, he politely requests him not to succumb to his pressures.
