Meal time is a treasured time for the whole family. It is one of the times when family bonding plays a major role and gets rewarded too. Once the Children are old enough to go to schools, lunch time is not atall considered in an all- family schedule, but Dinners come with joyous moments. It can be a very stressful day for the parents, an extremely boring or tiresome day for the children too, but having dinner together can be relaxing and helps ward off those gloomy feelings.

A University study shows that children involved in regular family mealtimes tend to possess healthier weight, eat healthier, and have greater academic achievement, improved psychological wellbeing and positive family interactions.

Findings from the study paper suggest scheduling atleast three family meals per week. The key: Family Time. Whether its breakfast, lunch or dinner, focus on connecting through pleasant conversation and questions about the kids' school life, work, friends and other interests.
