The makers of Jo Jo, presented by filmmaker Deva Katta, have unveiled Caution 1, introducing a raw, rustic world where the pursuit of diamonds sets the stage for romance, ambition and irreverent comedy. Written and directed by Kiran Jay Kumar and produced by Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni under the Vijayam banner, the film unfolds in the drought-hit diamond fields of Jonnagiri, where the promise of sudden fortune draws an unlikely group into an unconventional adventure.
The teaser takes us to Jonnagiri, where a group of hopefuls descends on the diamond fields, convinced that the rains might have left behind a fortune. What follows is a chaotic hunt, with stones mistaken for potential riches and a man trying his luck at flirting. Their discoveries are put to the test by an examiner, who dismisses them as ordinary stones. While one hopeful refuses to give up, insisting that their lucky break will eventually come, the woman beside him has a far more direct response: “Clean your own ass!” The exchange captures the film’s unfiltered humour, where the dream of striking it rich comes with its own share of ridicule.
Adding to the teaser’s promotional momentum, filmmaker and actor Tharun Bhascker called it an “excellent teaser” after watching it. His reaction offers an additional talking point as the film begins introducing its unconventional premise to audiences.

At the heart of Jo Jo are two penniless dreamers and a fearless young woman chasing a life-changing diamond. Their quest soon becomes entangled with romance, greed, betrayal, danger and comic misadventures. As their ambitions collide with unpredictable circumstances, the possibility of sudden wealth threatens to turn their pursuit into a far more complicated adventure than they imagined.
The film marks another collaboration between Deva Katta, Kiran Jay Kumar and Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni, who previously worked together on Mayasabha: Rise of the Titans. With Jo Jo, the team moves into a distinctly different tonal space, exploring a romantic comedy rooted in rural eccentricity and the absurdities surrounding an unlikely treasure hunt.
Krishna Kamal plays Seenu, while Maahi Sri portrays Supraja. The ensemble cast includes Phanindra Devarapalli as Venkatesh, Prabhavathi as Vijayamma, Mahaboob Basha as Suri, Satish Devatte Tanjore as Rangasaami, Puduru Sharath Babu as Ramana and Makarand Deshpande as Mukesh Shah. The technical crew comprises Rohith Kumar as Director of Photography, Mahesh Shankar as Music Director and Madhav Kumar Gullapalli as Editor. The film’s lyrics are penned by Rehman, Srinivas Mouli and Ramachandra.
With Caution 1, Jo Jo introduces a world where the pursuit of fortune brings together eccentric characters, unexpected confrontations and humour that refuses to play safe. The teaser offers an early glimpse of the film’s distinctive setting and comic sensibility, with further details about its release plans expected to follow.
