A saree becomes the unexpected link between a weaver and the woman destined to wear it in Suhas’ upcoming romantic drama, Hide & Silk. The makers have unveiled the title glimpse, introducing a love story built around an unusual idea of destiny, with Suhas playing a handloom weaver.

The glimpse features Suhas working at a loom to weave a saree, while veteran actor Tanikella Bharani’s voiceover adds an emotional layer to the visuals. The narration explores the belief that every saree is meant for a particular woman and eventually finds its way to her. Suhas’ character, meanwhile, wonders who will wear the first saree he has woven, setting the stage for a romance that connects two individuals through his craft.

Sanjana Krishnamoorthy plays the female lead, while the film marks the directorial debut of Rajendra Bala. The glimpse offers a glimpse into Suhas’ character and the film’s central idea, moving away from a conventional romantic setup.

Hide & Silk also marks the Telugu debut of Stone Bench Studio, the production house led by Kaarthikeyan Santhanam, which has produced 18 films across the Tamil and Malayalam industries. Vartika Jain is co-producing the film, while Amrit Ramnath is composing the music. The makers are yet to announce the release date.
