Producer TG Vishwa Prasad has admitted that Prabhas' The Raja Saab turned out to be a major disappointment and revealed that People Media Factory (PMF) will collaborate with the actor on another film. Despite the setback with their previous outing, the producer confirmed that the association will continue, with the next collaboration expected to take shape in 2028.

Speaking at a recent event, Vishwa Prasad acknowledged that the release timing of The Raja Saab was a major mistake. He felt the film arrived during the wrong season and could have delivered a different result had it been released at another time without competition. The film faced several challenges around its theatrical release, including delayed premiere shows and the controversy surrounding ticket price hikes.

The producer's remarks come after The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi, failed to meet expectations despite being mounted on a lavish scale. The horror-fantasy entertainer marked a different attempt for Prabhas, but its box office performance fell short of the anticipated outcome. Vishwa Prasad's admission highlights the importance of release planning and choosing the right window for a big-budget film.

Meanwhile, PMF is preparing for another association with Prabhas, with reports suggesting that the banner is looking at both big-budget and smaller-scale projects with the star. Prabhas already has several major commitments, including Fauzi, Spirit and Kalki 2898 AD 2. The next PMF collaboration is expected to move forward after the actor completes his current commitments, making it an association to watch in the coming years.
