Renowned cinematographer Shamdat Sainudeen turns director with Don't Sleep, a psychological thriller that promises a fresh take on the fear of death. The teaser was unveiled digitally by Naga Chaitanya, Vijay Sethupathi and Dulquer Salmaan, while over 15 prominent Tollywood personalities attended the launch event in support of the film.

Indhra Ram plays the lead role of a young man trapped in a psychological maze where sleep becomes his biggest enemy. His dreams begin to come true, leaving him afraid to even close his eyes. As he struggles to stay awake, death relentlessly follows him, with Ravindra Vijay playing the personification of death. The closer he gets to sleep, the closer he moves towards his end.

Shamdat, known for his work as a cinematographer in several blockbusters, uses striking visuals to explore the protagonist's psychological breakdown. The teaser builds curiosity around the film's unusual premise, with the conflict between sleep, dreams and death providing an intriguing foundation for the narrative.

Produced by V. Chudamani, Don't Sleep also features Vennela Kishore, Deva Katta, Taba Reema and Joyeetha Banerjee in prominent roles. The makers are expected to announce further details soon.
