I salute MSOs for the decision: KCR

Finally, Telangana CM KCR spells his mind about banning two news channels in the state. Reacting to media protests staged at his camp office he said, “We won’t need those news channels that have no respect for our Telangana culture and people. They should realize that if they want to operate from Telangana soil, they have to be loyal to the state. We will not tolerate any humiliation to our people and their elected representatives. They should learn to respect our culture and our traditions, otherwise there is no room here. I salute those MSOs who took this decision to ban the two news channels. All our MLAs also have passed a resolution recommending action against those two news channels. They have further complicated the issue by taking it to Centre’s notice. Currently, the issue is in pending with Telangana Assembly speaker and so the government has nothing to do with it.”

So, there is nothing left to say by Telangana government. Now the ball is in the two news channels’ court. They have to decide how to react to his statement and how to resolve their problem. Perhaps, no others from media may come to their support fearing the same fate.
