T-Assembly sessions from June 9th

KCR holds the first cabinet meeting today soon after he taking charge of his as Chief Minister of Telangana. He has signed the first file approving the new official logo of Telangana government. Later, he signed the file approving the appointments of new CS, DGP and Police Commissioners of the state. Then he has signed and issued the first G.O. of Telangana government opening account with Reserve Bank of India, which credits Rs.1,38,47,556 into Telangana government.

Later it was decided to hold Assembly sessions for longer periods than usual for wide discussions on several issues related to bifurcation and for passing several bills. However, the first sessions that begin from June 9th will be held for three days only, in which all the new members will take oath and elect the Speaker.
