Warner backs Kohli to make 1000 IPL runs

Sunrisers skipper David Warner is backing Virat Kohli to breach the 1000 run mark in one single IPL season, which has not been achieved by anyone till now. With 919 runs so far in the tournament, Kohli, who has amassed four tons and five fifties, is just a step away to score 1,000 runs in an IPL edition. David was quoted as saying:

"For his sake I hope he gets past the 1000-run barrier. It will be a massive achievement for Kohli and it would be great to witness someone of his class going past a 1000 runs in a single IPL season,"
