Rahul Gandhi accepts moral responsibility for defeat

Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi talked to media a short while ago at New Delhi. Sonia Gandhi said “We fought with our rival party in the elections, but got defeated. Winning and losing the elections is very common in democracy. We humbly accept the people’s verdict.”

Later, Rahul Gandhi addressing the media said, “Being the vice president of Congress party, I take the moral responsibility for our party defeat. I think, we have failed to convince the people about our ideology. I wish all the best for new government.”
