When the first merit list was announced on Monday in Mumbai to join junior college, a girl was heartbroken. This is because she has scored a staggering 99.8% score in her SSC exam but still could not manage to land a seat in any of the colleges in Mumbai. According to reports from the office of the deputy director of education, Mumbai, the student's form for admission was filled up on June 10 and 11 but was reset on June 16 and never filled again.
The student's form must have been reset by the school is all that they say. But the topper was shocked when she received a message on the online admission portal that she had not been allotted a seat. She said, "With my marks, I was very confident of securing a seat in the college of my choice, but I was shocked to see the message pop up". Both education department as well as the school denied any mistakes from their side. Now the girl has to wait until the end of the process and if there is any availability then only will she get a college seat.
