Now,Ministries's monthly work report online

In an attempt to make the day to day work of the Government and its ministries more transparent, all the central government ministries have been asked to highlight their achievements by putting online the details of the work undertaken by them on a monthly basis. Secretaries of all the ministries were informed by the Cabinet Secretariat about this new development. This will ensure greater transparency and availability of information in public domain. The secretaries were also asked to make sure that there is up to date governance related information on the websites at any given point in time. Recently in the quality audit conducted on the government website, 920 of them failed in the audit. This new rule will surely set things right.
