A video clip of a man posing for camera while he was throwing a hapless dog from terrace of a building in Chennai has gone viral as everyone condemned the gruesome act by the youth. Right after that a media hunt started for the culprits. While the Animal welfare activists have filed an FIR against the student and the police also are on a look out for them.
it has come to light that the person in the video is a final year Medical student, reportedly identified as Gowtham Sudarshan, who is seen dropping the dog from the terrace of a three-storeyed structure. It is, however, not known if the animal is dead or alive. The police confirmed that an FIR was registered against Gowtham Sudarshan and Ashish Pal under provisions of IPC and Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act adding they are on the look out for the accused.
