Lok sabha adjourned to 3 pm

Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar has adjourned the house till 3 pm. So, the debate on the T-Bill is likely to continue after two hours. Since, Congress has allotted only 4 hours for debate on the T-Bill, hardly any time will be left to continue the debate after the house meets again at 3pm. So no surprise, if it try to pass the bill with voice vote, ignoring BJP’s warning.

Parliamentary Affairs minister Kamalnath is currently trying to convince BJP senior leader LK Advani to support the T-Bill. However, Advani told him that it is not wise to present the T-Bill in the prevailing tense situation. Back at home, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy sought Governor Narasimhan’s appointment for 3’ clock today. He is going to submit his resignation letter to him. Ministers Ahmadulla, Partha Saradhi and few MLAs are currently talking to him at his camp office.
