Forces will give befitting reply says HM

Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday assured the nation that security forces were giving “befitting reply” to firing from across border and that the country will not bow down before anyone. Home Minister Rajnath Singh has spoken to the chief of Border Security Force, asking them to give a "fitting response". “I want to assure the nation that the security forces are giving befitting reply to the firing from Pakistan. We will not bowdown before anyone,” he told reporters in New Delhi. During the day, Pakistan had fired shells at Manjakote in Rajouri district. The army says Pakistan also violated the ceasefire along the Line Control at Sunderbani and they retaliated. Jitender Singh, 46, died when Pakistani Rangers fired a mortar shell at Abdullian in RS Pura sector, said Danish Rana, a senior police officer in Jammu. He was the third BSF man to be killed in Pakistani shelling in last five days. Singh said if countrymen were celebrating Diwali, it was because of the security personnel guarding the borders.
