Emaar MD wants CBI to video-record his examination

Emaar case, Emaar-MGF Land Limited, Shravan Gupta, CBI, Investigation, video recording, transperency, deputy legal adviosr, questionnaire, prosecution, examination, argument, CBI special courtManaging Director of Emaar-MGF Land Limited Shravan Gupta, accused in the Emaar Properties case by CBI, has urged the special court to direct the CBI to video-record his examination probably going to start from  August 24 to ensure transparency in the investigation. Deputy Legal Advisor to CBI B. Ravindranath argued that the request for video-recording of examination of an accused was unheard of. As a well-informed professional, there was no necessity for an advocate to assist Mr. Gupta, he said.
CBI is stating that the accused was a highly-influential person and required to be examined professionally; a questionnaire is being prepared already and he would be answering only to the questions there, hence recording is not required for such a simple process.
