5.8 magnitude Earthquake Hits Andaman

Earthquake Andaman: An earthquake of 5.8 magnitude on the Richter scale has been reported from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. No damage has been reported so far.

Earlier this month, a quake measuring 8.6 in Indonesia was felt all over India, and prompted worries of a tsunami.  Evacuations in parts of the Nicobar Islands were carried out as a precaution.
