Congress MPs strikes again, but why?

The five Congress MPS Undavalli, Lagadapati, Rayapati, Harsha Kumar and Sabbam Hari, who revolt against their high command and served no-confidence notice against their UPA government, have attended a press conference held by AP Journalists Association at Hyderabad on Sunday. Soon after winter Parliament sessions concluded, none of them could be seen, except Lagadapati’s occasional appearance before media. Now, they returns to media with a common goal.

As predicted, all of they sang in chorus against their party high command. They all reiterated that it is dividing the state merely for its own political benefits. They said their party not only betrayed the people of Seemandhra but also its own leaders. They cry foul on their high command for betraying them and the people, who helped it to form a stable government at Centre. Many of them have opined that a debate on the T-Bill should be conducted in Assembly that not only reveal the discrimination shown towards Andhra region but also gives a chance to stress the need for keeping the state united.

The sudden press meet held by the MPs gives way for suspicion. Since, they revolts against their high command, obviously they might be expecting Seemandhra people endorse their fight for Samaikyandhra, so as it can brighten their electoral chances in 2014 general elections. The way CM Kiran Kumar Reddy emerges as Samaikyandhra champion with his fight against his high command they also want to emerge as champions. Ultimately, all these anti-congress leaders may take shelter under a new umbrella likely to be opened by CM Kiran Kumar Reddy in the near future and contest elections under new banner. Their press meet can be seen as a preparation for it.
