Chandrababu likely to bring huge Chinese investments to State

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s China tour is likely to bring huge investments and companies to the state. During the third day of his China visit a MoU was inked between Hyderabad-based infra company Soma Enterprises and China Habour Engineering Company (CHEC) for providing basic infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh.

Chandrababu Naidu invited the CHEC to set-up a Chinese industrial park in the state where all Chinese Companies work under one roof. He also invited the CHEC to open its head office in upcoming capital city of Amaravati. Company’s Chairman Mo Wenhe said that his company is keen to take part in infrastructure development of the state.

Chandrababu also had a meeting with state-owned China Gezhouba Group Corporation (CGGC) which has vast experience in water conservation, wind power, power transmission sectors. He invited the company to the state for setting-up irrigation system to supply water to Rayalaseema districts.

Naidu also met a delegation from Guizhou province. They expressed interest to become sister province of AP in software development. They also expressed interest in setting up wind mill power projects in the state. Since, Chandrababu Naidu managed to rope-in China’s biggest company CHEC to the state, many other industries also may follow it to the state.

Chandrababu Naidu’s proposal of ‘all Chinese Companies under one roof’ may tempt them to set-up their shops in the state. This kind of experiment has already taken up in the Sri City in Chittoor district and getting a very good response.
