Chandrababu to discontinue pada-yatra?

TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who has been doing pada-yatra since October and covered more than 1000 km by foot, may temporarily discontinue it in the wake of intensifying protests and his deteriorating health condition. He may put an end to his pada-yatra from Thursday to hold a meeting with his party seniors for discussing the party strategy for the proposed all party meeting to be held on Friday this week.

Few days ago, YSR Congress party leader Sharmila also discontinued her pada-yatra and undergoes a surgery to her right leg knee joint. Sources say that, she may not restart her pada-yatra in the near future. Both these leaders, who extensively toured across the Telangana region expecting troubles from the Telangana protagonists, might be discontinuing their pada-yatras on health grounds. However, there is no official word yet from TDP about discontinuing his pada-yatra.
