Chandrababu Naidu explained him about the intensifying agitations in the state for it and the embarrassing situation that he and his ministers are facing for it. He pressurized the finance minister to take a quick decision on special status without prolonging it any further. He is reportedly asked his party MPs to stress for special status in the ongoing parliament sessions also.
