No radiation from cell towers- Government

It’s not new for us to read alarming articles about the radiation delivered from Cell towers and mobile phones. Some link the radiation to rapid decrease of bird population and some warn us that mobile usage has a link with sperm count. But the government has once for all denied that radiation doesn’t affect our health or our environment. Replying to a question in Lok Sabha, Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has even wondered about the validity of the topic.

The minister has said that even countries like US were not worried about such radiation. He said that the World Health Organisation has not found any evidence against adverse affects of radiation, even after studying the issue for 20 long years. Prasad has even mentioned the study by a team of experts assigned by the Allahabad High Court, which found no harm for humans due to mobile towers. Any doubts!
