  • High Command summons CM Kiran to Delhi

The latest development in state politics is summoning of CM Kiran Kumar Reddy by party state political in-charge Digvijay Singh to New Delhi for conducting a co-ordination committee meeting with the state Congress ministers. CM Kiran Kumar Reddy’s rebellion against high command’s decision and the number of complaints being made by T-Congress leaders and Ministers, might have obliged the high command to summon CM Kiran Kumar Reddy to New Delhi, otherwise generally the co-ordination committee meetings are used to hold at Hyderabad only.   CM Kiran Kumar Reddy has been asked to make himself available by Friday evening that is a day after GoM final meeting. Hence, it would be very significant meeting as he may be asked to fall in line with party and shoulder the responsibility of passing the T-bill/draft in the state Assembly. If, he shows any reluctance to obey the party orders, then how the Congress high command is going to handle the situation is interesting to know.

Hence Home Ministry has invited CPI, BJP, MIM, TRS and Congress parties to attend the meeting on 12th. The Parties are expected to give their suggestions about the measures to be taken during bifurcation process and any suggestion in this reagrd.   It will begin the meetings with MIM and then followed by CPI, TRS and finally Congress party. MIM is opposing division of the state. If division is inevitable, it demands for Rayala Telangana by merging Anantapur and Karnool with Telangana.

Besides these three, Union Ministers JD Sheelam, Killi Krupa Rani, Panabaka, who are reluctant to quit their posts have met at New Delhi yesterday to finalize best package for Seemandhra region. They have made a detailed report of 16 pages and sent it to GoM and also to Prime Minister by email.   However, they have refused to talk to media after concluding their meeting. While CM Kiran and his followers are still confident to halt the bifurcation process by defeat the T-Bill/ Draft in the Assembly, some others like these ministers are strongly believing bifurcation of the state is certain.
