Ever since, Jagan Mohan Reddy was released from jail on bail, he has been desperately trying to emerge as the savior of Samaikyandhra so that his party will have upper-hand in Seemandhra region, to where his party is confined now. Recently, he conducts fast unto death strike for the same purpose at his Lotus Pond residence, but there was poor turnout to his show, which comes to an end in five days after it was disrupted by the police.
Then his plan to conduct a huge public meeting ‘Samaikya Shanakaravam’ at Hyderabad on 19th October has faced rejection by the city police. Although, his party agreed to shrink the size of its meeting by cutting down the number of participants from 5 lakhs to 50 thousands, the Central Zone DCO has refused to give permission to his party meeting stating law and order problems arise. Since, the high court has granted permission to APNGO’s ‘Save Andhra Pradesh’ meeting held at Hyderabad earlier, YCP also decides to approach the court seeking permission for its meeting.
YCP has planned series of programs to keep the Samaikyandhra spirits alive, but the bail conditions of Jagan Mohan Reddy restricting him from stepping outside Hyderabad. So, he also filed a petition in the CBI court to relax the bail conditions to enable him tour the region.
