The two month long strike by APNGOs has come to an end without getting any assurance from the ruling Congress governments. All they could is just slow down the bifurcation process, but couldn’t stop. However, APNGOs president Ashok babu is still stating that they will continue their strike till 2014 general elections.Though, his efforts to keep the state unite is praiseworthy, his plan to continue the strike any further will reverses the public opinion on him.

 

If, he is still stick to his word that he has no interest to join politics or his confession of not having any political forces behind him, then he should restrain from forcing lakhs of employees to go on strike for such a long periods that will have no outcome except starvation of employees and their families and unrest in the state.

 

While, many of Seemandhra Congress leaders are playing foul game with people, their high command is determined to divide the state. Both the opposition parties TDP and YSRCP are struggling for their existence in the region.

 

Hence, in this prevailing situation any idea of continuing the strike would be fatal for employees. Even then if the leaders keen to continue the strike, then they should be suspected of their honesty and their intentions behind continuing it.
