RS 2200 Crore was sought by Telangana

HYDERABAD: On Sunday RS 2200 Crore has been sought by the state of Telangana to recuperate from the losses which have been caused due to heavy rainfall that whipped TG in the month of September. Rajnath Singh and the Union home minister were requested by a delegation comprising Mahmad Mahmood Ali, the deputy Chief Minister of the state and Etela Rajender, the finance of the state to provide financial assistance to Telangana.
Mr. Rajender informed the reports that the loss includes the damage of the crop and the damage done to the properties and the infrastructure. He also said that, they had submitted a detailed report and had requested the central government to provide assistance, adding that, Rajnath Singh responded to it positively.a
