A resident of Delhi, Faizan Patel and his wife Sana were scheduled to leave for their honeymoon to Europe, when his wife lost her passport just two days ahead of their trip. Instead of cancelling the entire trip, Faizan decided to leave behind his wife and go on their scheduled honeymoon trip, solo. On the flight, he took an emotional picture of himself holding the photo of his wife on the adjacent vacant seat, and tweeted it tagging Swaraj. The Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj, who is known for her prompt reply on social media and for helping distressed Indians from across the world, helped a newly-wed man unite with his wife. “This is how I am travelling with my wife as of now. @SushmaSwaraj @MEAIndia @MEAQuery,” he wrote. To Faizan's surprise the minister replied to his tweet. She asked him to tell his wife to contact her so that she can in turn ensure that both can be together on their honeymoon trip. Within approximately twelve hours, EAM Sushma Swaraj again tweeted to Patel, informing him that her office had reached out to him and that a duplicate passport will be provided by the following day. An elated Sana tweeted back to the minister thanking her, "@SushmaSwaraj @faizanpatel I'm speechless. Can't thank you enough already."
