Supreme Court has served notices to former minister Dharmana Prasada rao and to the state government asking them to respond to CBI petition filed against him for prosecution in Jagan Mohan Reddy’s illegal assets cases. CBI has approached the Supreme Court, after High Court has dismissed the CBI court move for Dharmana’s prosecution based on memo filed by CBI. However, CBI has questioned in him on August 21st in another case related to Lepakshi Knowledge Hub land deal. It appears to be a matter of time for Dharmana’s arrest by CBI.
The state government has allowed CBI to interrogate its minister Geeta Reddy in the same case. CBI is going to question her at her residence in a day or two.
