Congress MLC Shabbir Ali has disclosed a copy of a letter submitted to Sri Krishna Committee that was given by TRS president KCR. It is a consent letter for merging the seven mandals of Khammam district with the AP State that submerges under Polavaram Project. Shabbir Ali told the media that if the UPA government has followed his suggestion and implemented the same in the bifurcation bill, then Bhadrachalam Temple also would have gone to the AP state.”

He added, “Earlier, CM KCR used to assure the opposition parties that he will take an all-party delegation to New Delhi to give representation to the central government over this issue, but he didn’t, because of this letter only. Later, whenever we remind him he used to say past is past. He lied several times during Telangana agitation period and is lying even after becomes Chief Minister of the state. I know that he can’t speak truth ever.”

If, the letter disclosed by Shabbir Ali is genuine, then KCR might have fooled the people of his state by giving a bandh call in protest when Modi government issued an ordinance for merging the seven mandals of Khammam district with the AP State in the last year. Interestingly, even today TRS MP Vinod Kumar, while speaking in the Loksabha has flayed the Modi government for issuing an ordinance for it. If, so what about the consent their letter given to Sri Krishna Committee?
