Congress party state political in-charge Digvijay Singh seems is assigned to the task of damage control of the party in Seemandhra. Just few ago, he called upon expelled MP Harsha Kumar and invited him back into party. Though, Harsha Kumar formally agreed for his proposal he is still moving along with Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Now comes the turn of expelled Congress MP Sai Prathap. He also received a call from Digvijay Singh yesterday evening for the same purpose. Sai Prathap has planned to join TDP, but when he came to know that TDP has allotted his Rajampeta seat to BJP, he drops the idea of joining TDP. He is not interested to join BJP, YCP or JSP too. So, Digvijay Singh, as if sniffed about his dilemma situation, strikes the iron when it’s hot and Sai Prathap is said to be agreed to return to Congress party. He may leave for New Delhi and meet Sonia Gandhi in a day or two for his re-admission into party. Probably, all other MPs may also follow him to claim their party tickets for contesting the elections.
