The High Court adjourned Revanth Reddy’s bail petition case to Tuesday after hearing the arguments of both sides. Siddarth Rohit, who represents Revanth Reddy in the court, argued that his client will strictly abide by the court conditions if given bail. He quoted the example of his returning to jail one hour before the given time, when he was granted 12 hours bail to attend his daughter’s engagement function on June 11th. He argued that his client has co-operated with the ACB officials during interrogation but kept in the judicial custody without any strong reasons. So, he should be given bail. He is ready to follow any conditions laid by the court, pleaded Siddarth Rohit.

 

Telangana Attorney General Ramakrishna Reddy arguing on behalf of the ACB, “The political party that Revanth Reddy is representing is in power in the AP state. So, he may influence the evidences if granted bail. ACB has strong evidences of his involvement in this note-for-vote case. Currently, the investigation is in crucial stage. Still, the ACB has to question MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah and the fourth accused Jerusalem Mattaiah in this case. So, there are chances for influencing the evidences if he is granted bail,” said TS AG.
