PC Chacko, the official spokesperson of the Congress party said “President’s Rule imposition on Andhra Pradesh state would be the last option. If, the elected government in the state fails to maintain law and order efficiently, then only we will consider this option. We have asked CM Kiran Kumar Reddy to maintain Law and Order situation under tight control. We have asked him to convince the AP NGOs to stop their two month long strike.”
Congress is aware that any attempt to impose President's Rule on the state may provoke the striking employees. Hence, it might be patiently waiting to see them put an end to their strike on their own sccumbing to financial problems.
