Ponting, Clarke Record Partnership Against India

India vs Australia adelaide test 2012: Ricky Ponting and Michael Clarke continued to set new records with a massive unbroken partnership against India on the second day of adelaide test.
Clarke was bowled by Umesh Yadav for 210 just after the lunch break, bringing an end to a record 386-run partnership. Ponting brought up his double century shortly after, as Australia closed in on 500.
In adding 134 in the morning session in an unbroken stand of 385, Clarke (210, 26 fours, one six) and Ponting posted the highest partnership for any wicket at the Adelaide Oval.
They bettered South Africans' Eddie Barlow and Graeme Pollock, who combined for 341 runs in 1963/64.
Theirs was the highest partnership in Tests between India and Australia.
