Naidu Hits Back Jagan With NCM Against Govt.

The six month old Kiran Kumar government in AP has been served with a no-confidence notice by TDP yesterday. The TDP's decision to move no-trust vote against the government comes in the wake of YSR Congress president Jagan Moahan Reddy accusing the TDP of being in a 'match-fixing-deal' with the Congress government in the state. TDP supremo Chandrababu hit back jagan by asking him to parade the Congress MLAs supporting him before the Governor prior to the no-trust motion.
Even though Jagan Mohan Reddy didn't respond to Chandrababu Naidu's poser, the TDP went ahead with serving the government with the no-trust notice. This the TDP might have done with the twin objective of cornering Jagan and telling the electorate that it (TDP) had nothing to hide. If the MLAs supporting Jagan vote against the motion disobeying Congress whip, they stand to get disqualified from the assembly, unless he can muster support of 57 MLAs.
The TDP requested officiating speaker Nadendla Manohar on Thursday to extend the special session of the assembly to take up the motion, citing 'farmers’ miseries' under the present government for moving the motion. "We cannot watch silently when people are suffering. We are ready for any eventuality, even for fresh elections," said Mr. Naidu.
